    Question Controlling a Panasonic FV-0511VHL1

Hello. We have just purchased a Panasonic FV-0511VHL1 (Bathroom Fan, Light, Night Light and Heater combination. We would like to get started with changing out all of our switches with Lutron smart switches. This will be the first one. This unit needs four separate switches to control it. We also would like to have a set of (2) of these in the Master Bathroom so that we can control any of the four functions from two different locations. From reading the other forum posts, it appears that I can have a set of standard 3-way rocker switches in one location and then have the Lutron smart rocker switches in the other location. What switches do you recommend and what else do we need to get started on automating our house switches?
    Thanks, Kazman.

    Welcome to the forums Kazman,

We would recommend our Claro Smart Switches (DVRF-5NS) or Original Smart Switch (PD-6ANS) for this application. These can be installed on a 3-way with an existing mechanical switch. However, we can only recommend using this switch on the fan, light, and night light. The heater should be installed on its own dedicated 15A mechanical switch. Our on/off switches are not rated to control a heating element. Also, looking into the spec sheet of the Panasonic FV-0511VHL1, the heater will pull a total of 1600W which is too much load for any of our controls.
