    PD-5WS with LEDs always on

I have a PD-5WS in a single pole installation with a porch light that fixture that has two CFL bulbs, all has been working fine until I tried to switch out the CFL bulbs for some GE LEDs 3YD8 16W 1520 lumen bulbs. These bulbs are always on no matter what I do with the switch. Is there a compatibility issue here or is there a need to install a LUT-MLC in this scenario?

    Thank you,
    JP

You need to install the LUT-MLC.

Thank you, can you help me understand why? The troubleshooting documentation says to only install the LUT-MLC if "
LED on Caseta Switch is flashing OR a solid RED Color", which I am not seeing.

All electronic dimmers and switches have a minimum load requirement. Devices with a neutral connection have a much lower minimum load requirement. Your device does not have a neutral connection and the LEDs are a lower wattage than the CFLs. The MLC creates the minimum load for your device.
