lithonia olf 2sh Floods with Caseta dimmer and wireless pico switch

I replaced my old dual incandescent floodlight assembly with a Lithonia lighting OVFL LED 2RH 4000K Security light with a dual to dawn photocell.

I am using a Caseta Smart Bridge system with the app to control my home lighting.
The original incandescent floodlights were controlled by both a pico wireless and the original smart dimmer switch.
However, after installing the new Lithonia LED floods, I can’t control them at all.
Please advise.

The Caseta device needs to see the load. You have another switch (the photocell) between the Caseta device and the load. You can try putting some electrical tape over the photocell and see if it works. The best way is to rewire the fixture to bypass the photocell.

Piggybacking off of what Randy said; you do not need the photocell feature of your new light as you can program the dimmer to trigger the lights on a dusk/dawn schedule in the Lutron app.

Blocked the photocell with tape.
The old style switch showed no activity.
The pico switch showed led activity when I pressed the on switch.
Neither switch turned the outside LED floods on.

The Lutron app showed the floods to be on, but they don’t actually come on.
The app allows me to turn them on and off, but there is no actual light activity at the flood lights.

Hello, could you try using another light that does not feature a photocell and let us know if you still have the same issue?

Took it apart, and shorted the photocell leads together.
No change. LED’s don’t come on at all.
Put the original incandescent flood fixture back in.
Works fine with both bulbs.

It sounds like you are experiencing an LED compatibility issue between the dimmer and the light fixture. Upon further inspection, the security lights to not even appear to be dimmable. You must use dimmable LED lights with the Caseta dimmer or else it will not work properly. Lutron has a recommended LED list that shows lamps that are tested to be compatible with the dimmers. They are found on lutron.com/ledfinder.
