Maestro Occupancy Sensor with bath fan?

    Greetings!

I have 6 Halo LED can lights that I would like to be able to switch at the same time as a Panasonic WhisperValue bathroom exhaust fan. Ideally, I would come out of the last light and go right to the fan for ease of wiring purposes. I don't see any type of motor in the "allowable loads" section on the switch. Will this work? If not, I will run a separate wire to the fan and install a dedicated switch, although that would not be my first choice.

The switch I have is the MS-OPS2-WH.

    Thank you for your help!

You should use the MS-OPS5M which is rated to control fans and lights. The rating for a combined fan and light load for this device is 3A at 120V. Here is the install guide: www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/0302800.pdf.

Thank you. I just ordered the dimmer you recommended. It looks like exactly what I need!
