After config transfer, module doesn’t respond HWQS
So this is in HWQS version 14.3 and 15.10.1 on two different sites and using different computers I have come across what could be a related bug but I’m still unsure. It’s all wired with QS cable and both sites are about 6 years old.
Effectively a client wants a quick change to a scene and I do a transfer. The program says its ok with no errors, I restart the program to do Diagnostics > Verify Devices, all green tick.
Client then uses an unrelated part of the system and finds a light or zone won’t turn on. Manual test of the zone is ok, verify the load in software and nothing happens. Find that a whole switching module having issues but it is ok in the program but not turning things on.
So I re-transfer the same unedited config, no errors, verify devices, all green. The module now works.
Sometimes a re-transfer doesn’t work even though everything says it’s ok, the “printconnecteddevices” command says everything is fine. What might be happening and is there better diagnostics? Do I need to do firmware updates on the modules affected?

Are they DIN or RPM module? I'd look at the wiring.
I'd also try transferring via wired connection.
I'd also use the app for a "quick change."

DIN module and it was a wired transfer. Also they were conditional buttons for the quick update so no way around that yet.
After a little more poking around I put it on full monitoring and found these messages after telling the module to turn on the loads:
Timed out waiting for IPL acks.
