Bulbs too dim after installing Lutron MACL-153M-WH Maestro dimmer

I just installed a new chandelier and put in 18 2W LED (40W equivalent) bulbs (https://www.pegasuslighting.com/led-...nostalgic.html). The existing dimmer created a loud buzz and dimmed the lights poorly so I decided to replace it with the Lutron Maestro MACL-153M-WH. I just installed it and when I turn the lights on, they are extremely dim, much more so than with the original dimmer. I ran through the adjustment routine and when I try to adjust the lights up they don't increase in brightness at all. I figured that the 150W dimmer with 18 bulbs x 2W = 36W should handle things fine.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help!

One other thing I just noticed: When I turn the switch on all of the bulbs flash full brightness for an instant and then they go back to very dim.

Issue resolved: Bulbs are incompatible. Boring solution.

    Tyger,

I'm glad you were able to locate the issue! While LED compatibility may be boring, is it am important part of the equation. You can always find the most current LED Compatible Bulb Lists on www.Lutron.com/LED. Have a nice day!
