    Dimmer Switch install in bathroom.

Any problems installing a LUTRON P-PKG1W-WH in a bathroom? Just checking to see if Lutron advises against it because of humidity concerns. Thanks.

Fastermac, Thank you for the post. Normal operation in a bath room should not be an issue for the device.

This is from the spec. sheet:
    "Ambient operating temperature: 32 °F to 104 °F(0 °C to 40 °C), 0%-90% humidity, non-condensing.Indoor use only."

If you have enough humidity in the room to be a problem then you have other things to fix. Honestly, a simple vent fan with a 30 minute timer works wonders for ELIMINATING bathroom condensation problems.

While they don't have features to work with Caseta or Ra2, the Lutron Maestro timers are great for bathrooms. Simple, on-switch timer duration control, available as a single gang timer alone or a single gang dual timer/dimmer. Again, no automation integration but quite nice for bathroom fan controls.
