What's going on with the PD-6ANS switch?

Up until this weekend it was listed on Caseta product pages as coming soon. Now it seems to have disappeared from the market material. http://www.casetawireless.com/Pages/Products.aspx

I need a switch in my installation to switch an 80W fluorescent fixture. Should I just give up on the 6 amp switch and get the 5 amp switch? If I have to install the LUT-MLC with this, I'm not sure where I'd put it, so that's why I was hoping to get the PD-6ANS.

I'm not sure why it's no longer listed there. It is definitely a good model number. I'll have to alert the web team. Thanks for the heads-up about it.

You can find all of the Caseta control model numbers here: http://www.lutron.com/en-US/Products...elNumbers.aspx.

Also, the installation instructions for it can be found here: http://www.lutron.com/en-US/Service-...tructions.aspx. Just choose "C" and then "Caseta Wireless".

Brian W. Can you tell me the difference if any between the PD-5WS-DV and the PD-5S-DV?

I know the PD-5WS-DV is the "Caseta Wireless" branded model, but is the other one compatible with Caseta also?

    Thanks

You can install the LUT-MLC in the switch box or in the fluorescent fixture. I don't think you will need to install it though with the 80 watt load.

The PD-5S-DV is an Energi TriPak product, and not a Caseta compatible switch. It can only be controlled directly by a Pico remote, or the RF occupancy sensors, such as the LRF2-OCR2B-P-WH. It will not work with the Caseta bridge.
