    QS RPM-4U's with LED bulbs/lamps

Client replaced most incandescent bulbs/lamps with LED. Reporting flickering. Have not been onsite yet. Project has all loads set to Incancescent/Halogen.

Would changing the type help with the dimming or do I need to look at replacing with 4A's? Would LED forward phase or reverse be preferable?

Still waiting on site visit to see if adjusting low end trim with resolve everything.

If the RPMs have a white label they definitely need to be replaced. I don't remember exactly when but Lutron updated the 4U some time ago. A red label indicates it is the newer model.

Most of the lights bought through retail are going to be forward phase. Setting the load type to LED forward will help but may not cure all the issues.

The 4U has a minimum load of 25w. This could be an issue if you only have a few LEDs. The 4A minimum is 10w. 10w may still be an issue but the 4A has newer electronics so it should work better.

It looks like Lutron has the 4As in stock!!
