    PNL8 to din Rail conversion?

Has anyone tried installing din rail and din rail dimming modules into existing PNL 8 or 5 panels? Seems to me if you follow the spacing guidelines it would be a fairly clean way of upgrading existing Illumination systems with the minimum amount of down time. Obviously the intelligent thing would be for Lutron to support these older panels in QSX cuz the alternative is telling customers to take a 2 week vacation while all panels and devices are swapped out and a completely new system installed or we can just upgrade to the older, less capable QS processor instead of QSX. IMHO Lutron didn’t think about their dealers or their customers on this one. So many Illumination systems just holding on just because this lack of backward compatibility.

PD-PNL-8-SUB is a sub plate that goes in a PNL to allow you to add up to 8 DIN modules. It costs the same as an entire new PD8 panel but it does include DIN rail, harness, panel cover, and the must have for any retrofit QS wire landing board.

Thanks, something pre-made is definitely better. The cost sucks but its more about time than money but then again time is money so it’s still a good value.
