Can a DVCL-153P switch control low voltage halogen lights?

I have a set of low voltage halogen lights with a magnetic transformer. Currently they are controlled with a DVLV-600P switch. These switches are quite expensive.

I was wondering of I could use a DVCL-153P instead.

    Thanks!

The DVCL is NOT rated for magnetic low voltage.
