    Lutron HWQS Connectivity Issues

    Hello,
I am trying to extract the project file from a HWQS processor in order to continue programming an existing configuration, however, whenever I connect to the same switch that the processor is connected to, I am given a Communication failure due to subnet issue message. I can see that the processors has a 76.196.85.x addresses which I don't even know how that is possible as the switch's is on a completely different subnet, its ip being 192.168.1.x. An important thing to not is that these processors have been programmed before.

    Thank you

I believe it is a subnet issue. Make sure both are on the same subnet, i.e. have the same subnet mask.

I know it's a subnet issue, but I'm trying to figure out why it even has a different subnet in the first place, since it's connected to a switch with a 192.168.1.x ip address.
