    Lightbulb S2-LFSQ and LED lights

Why is this fan/light control switch not recommended for LED bulbs? The light portion of the switch is just on/off, not dimming.

Sorry, I used the wrong part number - I meant SFSQ-LF.

The S2-LFSQ was tested/rated for up to 300watts incandescent/halogen only for the light portion. While technically you could have an LED load connected to the control and work properly for a time, the control was only rated for incandescent/halogen and over time the inrush current of the LED could impact/damage the control. We'd recommend to use it only with incandescent/halogen as it was tested/rated to be used with.
