HWQS 7.4 has a case of the Xs

Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Pretty weird.
I wouldn't mind except even the reports have Xs all over it.

I've been deleting QS programs that I don't use anymore- don't know if that's related?

    digit1,

    Thank you for this information.

We have not heard of this issue.

Does this only occur in this database or in all files for the 7.4 version?

Any database I open in 7.4 has this problem. I opened a database in 8.5 so I could avoid the Xs and no problems with the same database in 8.5.

Ok, I emailed a support file in to hwsupport.
Meanwhile, uninstalling and reinstalling 7.4 = no more Xs.
    thx
