Single switch to Separately wired fixtures

I’m trying to replace the mechanical switch installed for some under cabinet lights. The contractor appears to have ran each side of the kitchen separately and brought both load wires into a single Leviton switch (1 to a “quickwire termination” and the other to the screw). When I connect both of them to the red wire on my PD-5ANS then nothing works. Ideas? Suggestions?

Since your switch has a red and black lead, power-in must be attached to the black lead.

Make sure the power-in wire didn't get mixed up and connected to the red. It won't hurt the dimmer but it won't work either.

Make sure you have the neutral connected. Not all white wires are neutral.
