Just wanted to share the results of some tests I have conducted with a few various Feit products on the market when used with a Maestro MACL-153M dimmer.
1. Feit LEDR6DB/6WYCA 5/6 in. Deep Baffle Color Selectable Recessed LED Downlight. No audible noise, no flicker, no ghosting, smooth dimming down to zero. Bulb purchased February 2021.
2. Feit OM60DM/930CA/4 60-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable CEC Title 24 Compliant LED ENERGY STAR 90+ CRI Light Bulb, Bright White, 4-pack. Faint hum noticeable if listening close to the bulb but nearly silent. No flicker, no ghosting, smooth dimming down to nearly zero. Bulbs purchased March 2021. Bulbs purchased in 2019 also perform the same.
3. Feit OM75DM/930CA/2 75-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable CEC Title 24 Compliant LED ENERGY STAR 90+ CRI Light Bulb, Bright White, 2-pack. Dims fine but exhibits unacceptably loud buzzing noticeable from several feet away. Bulbs purchased March 2021.
4. Feit OM100DM/930CA 100-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable CEC Title 24 Compliant LED ENERGY STAR 90+ CRI Light Bulb, Bright White. Dims well with no noise, but exhibits a flash when first turned on before ramping up to full brightness. Bulb was purchased in 2018. I have not tried a newer stock version to see if Feit has updated the driver circuitry. I will report back if I do.
5. Feit BR30DM/930CA/3(N) 65-Watt Equivalent BR30 Dimmable CEC Title 24 Compliant LED ENERGY STAR 90+ CRI Flood Light Bulb, Bright White, 3 pack. No audible noise, no flicker, no ghosting, smooth dimming down to nearly zero. Bulb purchased March 2021. Feit has upgraded this bulb circuitry. Older generation bulbs purchased in 2019 with SKU BR30DM/930CA/3 [no “(N)”] exhibit the same performance but will ghost constantly if installed with only one bulb installed, and will ghost for several seconds in pairs of two. The upgraded “(N)” circuitry eliminates this issue.
