    Question MS-OPS2H Wiring

I bought the Motion sensor single pole switch which has 2 black wires and 1 white with green sleeve. The switch that I am replacing only has 1 black wire and 1 white wire. How do I wire the new switch? Thank you.

As a followup I have determined that the black wire is hot. So again, how to wire this correctly? Thanks.

Normally power goes to the wallbox, through the switch and up to the light. In some cases, power goes to the light box and down to the switch (on the black in your case), through the switch and back up to the light.

Since your device has 2 black leads, it doesn't matter which one you connect to the power. There should be details in the installation instructions on what to do if you don't have a neutral.

    Tried all combinations

Tried all combinations and some of them do power the motion sensor and when I try it in test mode you can here the click on motion but it does not power up. When I try their suggestion when there is no neutral I do not seem to get power to the sensor.

Lutron says there is no minimum load for the OPS2. However, without a neutral connection you probably need some load to make the switch work.
