Hello; In 2008, I installed a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling. Inside the fan is a receiver that controls the fan speed and light dimmer. The old fan had a separate Red wire and Black wire going from the switch to the fan. I am pretty sure we disconnected and capped the Red wire, leaving only the Black wire connected to the Receiver in the fan and the Lutron integrated fan and light switch. A great setup!!! The existing Lutron switch has Line Power to it and one Black wire going to the Receiver in the fan. Somehow, the Lutron Switch must be communicating with the Receiver to control both lighting and fan speed.Moving to 2020, I want to control the fan from Google or Alexa. Currently, I believe Lutron only makes separate Smart Fan Speed Control and Light Dimmer switches. Using 2 Smart Switches is no problem. However, I suspect Lutron does NOT make Smart Switches that are compatible with my existing switch to receiver. https://www.lutron.com/en-US/Product.../Overview.aspx know that I can bypass the Receiver and simply use the the Red and Black wires as Load controls for the Light and Fan, but that means I have to get up into a very high ceiling fan to do the rewiring. It would be GREAT if there were a switch exactly like the existing switch only it could be Wi-Fi enabled to be controlled. Am I dreaming? What is the best way to solve this problem? Thanks,Paul
