    Migrating RadioRA2 to new laptop.

I just successfully upgraded to 12.9, updated the firmware on my main repeater, and was able to transfer some updates with little problem. Everything is working fine. On my current laptop system the main repeater IP address shows as 192.168.1.201.But, I just purchased a new, much faster Windows laptop. When I try to find the main repeater, which is directly connected via Ethernet cable, I get the error message: PC and main repeater cannot communicate using th4 IP address: 192.168.1.201. Please pick an IP address in the range 169.254.239.1 - 169.254.239.254 except for 169.254.239.92This is above my pay grade. I don’t want to mess anything up. I don’t know why this is occurring or whether the fix is just picking a number in the suggested range.Help would be appreciated. Thanks,Ed

If the main repeater is connected directly to your computer (no router) you must manually set the IP address of your computer to 192.168.1.xx. If you are going through a router, something is not setup right because you are not getting a 192.168.1.xx address from the router.
