My basement has Metalux SLSTP 8SLSTP8040DD-UNV fixtures installed (spec sheet) on a lighting circuit with no ground. I'm looking for a Caseta switch to replace the toggle switch that is currently in place. I don't really care if the switch is dimmer or not; I'm almost certainly never going to need to be able to dim these lights. I have an extra PD-6WCL dimmer lying around, so it would be great if I can use that, but the electricians who installed the lights said it won't work with these fixtures (they said it has something to do with the PD-6WCL off state not cutting power completely). I'd also rather not have to refeed the wiring to add a ground if I don't have to. Which Caseta switches would work with these fixtures without a ground wire? If the answer is none, which switches would work if I had the wiring re-fed to add a ground? Thanks
