Thread: Siri Command List

    Siri Command List

I have been able to use Siri to turn on/off lights.

    "Turn on [room] lights"
    "Turn off [room] lights".
    "Dim [room] lights"
"Dim [room] lights to [##] percent"
"Set [room] lights to [##] percent"

Anyone have any others that they have found? I would like something that works a scene, but can't seem to get that to work.

Found that "All lights on" and "All lights off" both work, do not have to create scene.

I think you've covered the commands that I typically use. However, Siri has misunderstood me and turned all of the lights in the house on or off, which is always entertaining...and frustrating.

If you don't specify a Room/Zone/Load, Siri will trigger all of the lights.

Brian, Am I missing something? Is there something in the way a Scene is named, that would allow Siri to use it?

You aren't missing anything. Currently with the Caseta app, there is no way to trigger a scene via Siri.

You may be able to get scene control with a 3rd party Homekit compatible app. I think there is one called Elgato Eve that may have that ability.
