Can I use the Dimmable Lamp Switch with a lamp that is not able to dim?

I have a regular lamp that just has an on/off switch (no ability to dim or set high or low). Can I use the Lutron Dimmable Lamp Switch with this lamp? Is there a better lamp switch I can buy that doesn't have all the dimming features and works with Lutron hub (and Apple homekit)? My goal is to add this lamp to a "scene" with Apple Homepod.Thank you so much,Cameron

The plug-in lamp dimmer can be programmed to be on/off only. One of the benefits of the plug-in dimmer is that it's also functions a range extender. There are a number of companies that make smart plugs that are HomeKit compatible. I have a number of Wemo (Belkin) smart plugs.
