Question troubling activating Wallbox power module

I am trying to configure an HWI-WPM-6D-120 Wired wallbox power module connect to an HQP6-2 Processor. I am using Homeworks Designer 15.5.0. The software does see an configure the attached wallbox devive on link 1, but when trying to activate, it doesn't register the button press on the WPM. the processor does show link activity on link 1, and currently nothing else is attached to that link.

The HWI is an Illuminations device. It won't work with HQS. I believe the legacy link license(s) only work with wired keypads and wired dimmers/switches.

Thank you for your post dwagman.

You can use the older HWI WPMs but would need a link licenses for these units. Please see App Note 537 at https://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocu...ary/048537.pdf. If you use the Illumination to HWQS Converter it will swap them out due to the tool putting the converted file in 10.7. You will have to upgrade the file to version 13.X or higher and you will be able to add the old WPMs and Grafik Eyes.

Question where to get HQ-HWI-LX and HQ-HWI-GRX-SW

The technical note to with you rferred me suggests i need a HQ-HWI-GRX-SW software license and a HQ-HWI-LX link adapter. These don't seem to be readily available anywhere. Can anyone suggest how I might get the software license and adapter? Thanks,Dave

Thank you for your post dwagman.

To gain access you would need to purchase a link license listed in the above app note. There are ones for Grafik Eyes, Q96s and Legacy keypads. Once that is bought and you get the new processors, you will need to call Customer Service with the PO and serial number of the processor. Once that is provided, we will be able to provide the license for you.
