    GRX-MR-3 malfunction

After the homeowner accidentally shorted the circuit, the GRX-MR-3 is doing this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3S...053SUVnVzlrdlk

I have informed the homeowner that the module is now damaged and must be replaced.

Has anyone had any experiences bringing these back to life or repairing these?

    Thank you in advance.

    pahidla,

Unfortunately, the GRX-MR-3 would need to be replaced. It looks to be internally shorted and cannot be repaired.

Thanks. Would you be able to say what internal part was most likely damaged? A relay switch perhaps, a fuse or a resistor?

    Thanks again in advance!

    pahidla,

Unfortunately we would not know until the device was taken apart and the components were analyzed.
