    Slow response to keypad presses

Have a RadioRA2 installation with ~100 devices. Yesterday, I added two devices - a PRO and 2ANF. At around 10PM, the system seemed to get bogged down. Responses to keypad presses in multiple rooms were very slow - like hit the keypad and wait 5 to 10 seconds for the device to respond. This has happened in the past - usually at around the same time. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be slowing the response time and why it seems to happen at a certain time of day? Thank you in advance for any insight you might be able to provide.

Hello Bob. If this system is on your network and there is a particular high amount of network traffic typically caused by something spamming the network, this can flood the repeater with messages and is possible to bog the system down. The only real way to know is to run a wireshark capture during the time this is happening to see what traffic is on the network. Next time this happens you can also pull a support file in the software while connected to the system and e-mail it in to Lutron. Accurate time stamps are very important.
