Caseta Dimmer - No Status Light

Installed a Caseta Dimmer with Pico remote. Previous single pole switch worked fine; this was a basic swap. I purchased another dimmer thinking the first one was faulty- new one does the same thing. Lights involved are 6” LED recessed.

I had the same problem. Just solved it when I realized the LED bulbs weren't dimmable. Swapped them out and the switch came to life. First thing you can do is test the switch is getting power as follows: tap "ON" three times, on the third tap, hold the "ON" button for five seconds, then tap three more times once the lights are flashing
