Exclamation How to connect Lutron Connect Bridge from Android custom app ?

Dears, I have created a custom android app and want to communicate with Lutron Connect Bridge to switch on/off lights. With default Lutron Home Connect app we are able to control the switch on/off lights. But we would want the same functionality to work from our android custom app.We tried few NodeJS projects from GIT for Lutron but they did n't work. Please do let us know what is the process to integrate with third-party app ?? Do we have REST API's for Lutron connect bridge so that to use from any mobile app ?Thanks..

Check lutron.com for their integration protocol document. I believe the processor will accept integration commands. I'm not sure if the bridge will. The Caseta bridge uses TelNet so maybe the Connect Bridge does too? I believe Lutron is moving away from TelNet so that may not be an option much longer.

Thank you for your post srimirah.

RandyC is right, we would recommend using the Lutron Integration protocol guide found here at http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocum...ary/040249.pdf to send commands to the processor/repeater. We do not send Telnet commands to the Connect Bridge.
