I want a 3-way with motion sensors at separate locations.

I want a 3-way with motion sensor for my stairwell lighting. The stairs make a 180 degree turn halfway down. The goal is for the tread lighting to be triggered when someone comes up the stairs from the bottom location or goes down from the top location. Can I wire two MSCL-OP153MH-WH switches in a 3-way configuration to do this? This way there is a motion sensor at each location. Is there a better way? Thanks. -

No. You can only have 1 sensor per circuit. Lutron makes stand alone motion sensors (Radio Powr Savr) that can control RadioRA 2, RA2 Select and Caseta (as long as they are not assigned to a Caseta bridge). They have wall, hall, corner and ceiling mount versions.
