Programming Button to work between 12am and sunrise. Illumination

Need a button on a phantom keypad to function only between the hours of 12am and sunrise. Can anyone help?

If you go to the help file in illumination, navigate to 2.0 programming, and then select Conditional Programming Model, that will explain the process pretty well. I even think one of the examples pretty closely resembles what you are looking to accomplish.

2 ways to do it

one is use a time clock to set a variable True or False So make a variable called what you want Have the time clock set the variable true at 12 am have the time clock set variable false at sunrise

make the keypad button conditional then make a preset under preset tab to do what you want to execute

Then make the condition so it reads as it does on my jpeg time clock

Program it under the press tab

I like this way so when ever times need to be changed you just change time clock setting you don't have to go to every keypad and change it on press tab See variable Jpeg


The other way is to write the condition on the press tab its self using the internal time clock Keep in mind that the time clock in illumination works differently then in QS so you need to use < and > because its a 24 hr clock

this way is done the same with presets however every time you want to change the time settings you need to rewrite the conditional see my jpeg Timeclock
