    PD-6ANS LED Bulb Woes

I have two of these switches controlling a light post and two outdoor sconces. Both work great with CFLs or incandescents. The post light has an LED that stays glowing when it is switched off. Do I need a LUT-MLC even though the switch is connected to a neutral wire? The sconces seem to work with the LEDs for a few power cycles and then stop working. At that point you can only get them to light up if you fiddle with unscrewing the bulb. Any thoughts on what might be causing that? Thanks for your help.

Yes, Even though this switch is connected to a neutral, I would suggest adding a LUT-MLC to the load to help add a little bit of load to the switch. We've seen this issue happen a couple of times in the past, depending on the LED.Instead of messing with the bulb, there is a tab at the bottom of the switch to cut power to the circuit. You should be able to pull this tab out for a couple of seconds and then press it back in instead of having to mess with the bulbs.

Brian, thank you. Do you think the LUT-MLC would help for the sconces where the LEDs turn on and then stop turning on after a couple of power cycles?

Yes, it could potentially help with that issue as well.
