Unhappy HomeKit not recognizing Caseta system with mesh wireless network

I have a Linksys Velop system in my house (one primary node and two secondary nodes in other rooms). The Lutron Smart Bridge and main Velop node are plugged into my the wireless router/modem the cable company provided (with the Wi-Fi turned off). The Lutron app works to recognize and control my switches, but HomeKit will not recognize the smart bridge when I try to add it to my home. Additionally going into the Lutron app and selecting "HomeKit & Siri" loads for a minute then gives me an error that I "must be on your home Wi-Fi network to set up Siri."HomeKit was working fine with just the router/modem before I added the Velop. Something tells me things aren't being routed back to the modem appropriately, but I'm not sure how to set it up to work. Any suggestions?

    Solved

Turns out setting the Velop to bridge mode fixed my issue. If anyone else has the same problem!
