Really ANNOYED with the phone app

I can think of half a dozen things wrong with the design of the phone app but am I the only person who has trouble with editing SCHEDULES? Specifically, when I go to touch the tiny EDIT pencil icon, it doesn't take me to the EDIT page - it turns on the light in that particular SCHEDULE bar. Really frustrating!
