Unhappy Replacing light fixture with light/fan combination.

We had a light fixture in our master bedroom that was controlled by a Lutron in-wall dimmer (PD-6WCL) and a Pico remote control (PJ2-3BRL). The light can be controlled with a smart phone as well. We have replaced the light fixture with a ceiling fan/light fixture combination. The fixture came with a remote control bundle, including a receiver, in-wall transmitter and a handheld transmitter. I have installed the new fixture and have tried to use the new in-wall transmitter. I have also tried to use the existing Lutron in-wall dimmer. Neither one will work. What advice can you give me. I am getting juice to the wall switch as the led lights show on the dimmer. All wires are intact in the ceiling. I do not need the new fan/light to be on the Lutron system. Also, I removed the Lutron devices on the smart phone app. Any help?

The Caseta dimmer is not going to start a ceiling fan. Plus you have the receiver for fan in line between the 6WCL and the fan. The receiver does not like to be dimmed.

If you bought them as a package, the wall control and the remote should have already been paired with the receiver in the fan. You can try re-pairing them. It could be small addressing switches in the devices or a series of button presses.
