    Flimsy Pico wall mounts

Does anyone have any recommendations for how to stiffen up the cheap, plastic Pico wall mounts? I can feel the mount flex when I press the Pico buttons.

asherrick- which one are you using? The old PICO-FP-ADAPT was much flimsier and was not rated to go over a 120V box. You could push the Pico hard enough to get a finger into the box. The new replacement- PICO-WBX-ADAPT- is much stronger and has a plate to keep the Pico from going back.

Yes, it's the current model. It's made of a clear plastic.

If this is the same house that has the shimming problem, the caterpillars or Lutron Plates should solve the issue. I have found the new WBX adapters to be more than adequate when they have a solid mount behind them.

Yes, same problem. Keep in mind that this is a new house, but I am fairly particular about alignment, fitment, and tactile feedback. :) I'll update these threads after the weekend as I hope to make a dent in the whole-house install.
