Question Converting from Fluorescents to LEDs

Our plant office has ECO-10 ballasts with F32T8 (48") fluorescent tubes using NF-103P-277 dimmers (3 way dimmer). We want to convert to LED drivers and LED tubes but were hoping to do so by replacing defective ballasts (as they fail) with drivers and new LED tubes. Does Lutron supply drivers that will work with this dimmer or would it be better to remove the dimmers all together to make the transition. Or are there other suggestions to accomplish this.

There are a variety of LED tubes that look just like their fluorescent counterparts. Philips is the brand I see most often. I've seen 4-foot T8 and T12 as well as 2-foot U-tubes. If you have a magnetic ballast it is probably not going to work on the LED tubes. Philips, and possibly others, has a model that can be powered by an existing ballast or directly from line voltage. They are a little pricey though. If you are replacing both the tubes and the ballast you should look at a new fixture. Similar labor and lower material cost.

The energy savings of LED vs fluorescent isn't nearly as high as LED vs incandescent. Unless you have light quality issues, really high burn hours the payback is going to be really long.

Hi, this is a cheap price. If you are replacing both of these pipes for shipping, look for a replacement product. Commission is the same as fees and minimum fees. Dark white LED energy equals the height of the LED taken from the strip material. If you don't have quality information, it's better to use hot water because it's too hot.
