Main Repeater Duplicate Serial Address - May Cause Crash
A dealer reported this issue to us and we thought it would be a good idea to share this information.
He was seeing two sets of the Main Repeater’s serial address being displayed on the “Find Main Repeater” screen and it was causing communication issues. This could also potentially cause a crash to the RadioRa 2 program. This sometimes occurs when there is a wired connection to the Main Repeater as well as having a wireless connection to the same network.
In order to resolve this issue, we would recommend going to your “Network and Sharing Center” and clicking on the “Change adapter settings” to temporarily disable your wireless connection to the network. After this is done, refresh the “Find Main Repeater” screen and only 1 serial address will appear for the Main Repeater.

I'll add you might want to avoid using a dual-homed laptop when doing setup. As in, one with a wifi connection to the house and also a connection to an ISP. I found the RA2 software tended to get hung up when trying to activate a repeater if the cellular data connection was also active.
This may not be an uncommon situation if you're doing setup in a house that does not yet have it's internet connection established. Which, if that's the case, you might want to get around by temporarily using a router that has cellular connection features. Plug your cellular data USB dongle into the router and connect that way instead. At least during the setup phase.
