Would an H8P5 fit in an LV24 enclosure?

Can a Series 8 processor be squeezed somehow into an LV24 enclosure?

I've been leasing my house which has an old 4 Series HWI system, installed ~2006. I'm well aware of the battery issues which is making me very concerned. If I were still living there, not a big deal to reboot and reload. The tenants on the other hand....

I'd like to get a few more years out of it, which means buying another processor and swapping it in. I'm not ready for a full forklift upgrade of the whole system, especially while I'm not living there now.

There seem to be more 8 Series on eBay that have had battery replacements, so that may be an easier purchase. The only other minor bit is that there doesn't seem to be an easy way in Illumination to move the links over from one processor to another unfortunately, so some manual work there.

Hello, as I know, it is not possible to directly install a Series 8 processor into an LV24 enclosure. The LV24 enclosure is designed to accommodate the 4 Series HWI system and is not compatible with the Series 8 processor. The Series 8 processor requires a different form factor and may have different power and connectivity requirements.
