    Question Maestro Countdown Timer

I have a Ma-T530G / MA-T51 timer. It has a bizarre feature (called the one minute indication) that cuts off the load one minute prior to timing out to let you know its in the last minute as if you're at a Broadway play at intermission. Is there any way to disable this feature? As it's made for fans, I don't think long term that cutting power to a fan motor and then turning it back on while it's winding down is a good idea and will shorten the fan life. Also its just weird to do that as a default. Any thoughts on disabling this or do I need to get another solution?

The only adjustable options are preset (locked or unlocked) and bypass (enable or disable, not available on ECO timer). I've been using them on my exhaust fans for 8+ years and have not experience any issues.

this is a great question, this is something which i wanted to see if i could disable as well as i think it would damage the motor over time with more stop and start cycles.Buts others are saying this isn't an issue.

You can not disable the off warning. You could use a Maestro sensor (MS-OPS2, MS-OPS5). It does not have the warning feature. You would have fewer timeout options (1, 5, 15, and 30 minutes). You can disable the auto-on if you don't want it.
