    Maestro Occupancy won't turn off

I installed my maestro occupancy sensing switch and it will not turn off. I've tried holding the switch down and nothing happens. The sensor also doesn't seem to blink when holding down the button. Is it broken or am I missing something ?

You likely have a grounding issue. The Maestro sensor switches require a solid ground connection as that is how the sensor powers itself. Be sure to connect both ground wires out of the switch. If you have a bad ground, you'll have to check the connections in the wallbox and any other ground connections, tracking your way back to the main panel. You could also try connecting the switch's ground wire to the neutral temporarily to find out if the grounds are the issue.
