How to replace a broken Diva switchplate toggle cover with a new CL toggle cover?

Have a broken switchplate cover and missing internal attachments like spring, but have new seemingly identical CL switch from which to harvest parts. How do I safely remove new cover and attach to old switch?

Officially the plastics on Diva devices are not field changeable. Unofficially, if you were to turn the power off and remove the dimmer from the wall, their might be 2 small tabs on the back of the yoke at the top that will release the plastic. In newer models it comes off as 1 piece. In older models the button, bezel, etc, are separate pieces.

ok, fixed what is officially called the bezel by 1) raising the lower part to clear the housing and then 2) pushing DOWN on the bexel to get it off its mount. Inserted new bexel parts from a DIVA switch. Poor design.
