    Every 6months timer

Shade guy supplied non Lutron battery shades. They have a power supply that needs to be run for 8 hours every 6 months to charge. Ideas? Time clocks in Ra2 won't do it. Really don't want to have any user interaction. Not sure what third party systems are in the house. Thinking stand alone timer but not sure what kind. Alexa or Siri? IFTT

MitchE-Have them set up a recurring calendar event on their phone or Outlook Calendar. IPhone calendar with recurring every year, set second event 6 months from that date and have it recur every year. Also can use the reminders on a Nest Thermostat- it reminds you every six months to replace your filters. Lots of customers use that same date to replace batteries in smoke detectors, so adding the shade batteries into the mix shouldn't be too easy.

Thanks All Tech said system would be OK to turn on/off once a week for 30 min since it's just a trickle charge. Wasn't worried about the charging cycles killing the battery life. I will look more into Controlbyweb. Looks interesting. Always good to know more. Except when I hear my kids scream "dad you got to see this. QUICK"!

Off topic. Can anyone tell me why my post are coming up a one long paragraph? I type them all nice and neat like my teachers taught me but then they turn into one long run on sentence that I can't stand because it's one of my pet peeves and it drives me up the wall or something like that.

MitchE- I had that same problem. Formatting way off on my other thread. And reply with quote seems broken in Chrome.

The wall box power module only works in the Inclusive version of the software. Will need to consult your local rep for assistance.
