    3-way switch controlling multi-speed fan

I am building an addition (so new construction) and I want to have a multi-speed ceiling fan that is controlled by 2 wall switches at the two entrances to the room.

I am hoping to avoid the dangling chain to adjust the speed of the fan, so I'd love to have two rocker switches, or something similar, so that each switch could be used to adjust the speed of the fan. If I can't adjust the speed at both switches, the next best solution would be able to adjust the speed (and turn it on/off) at one switch, and just turn it on/off at the second switch.

Is there a switch combination (and wiring instructions) that can do this? I've been searching, and haven't found it yet.

BTW, this will be only a fan, so no light to be involved.

    Thanks
