Thread: 3 gang wall plate - 2 rocker, 1 Pico?

    3 gang wall plate - 2 rocker, 1 Pico?

I had 3 way switch, replaced one (single gang) with Caseta dimmer. 2nd switch is part of 3 gang (was 3 rocker).
I still hope to find a way to keep the rocker in connection with the Caseta dimmer (and use the Pico as handheld remote).

But if that is NOT possible, I need to install the Pico into the existing 3 gang setup, and need to find a matching wall plate.
I HAVE found a 3 gang, 2 toggle, 1 rectangle wall plate, but from a different brand. Does Lutron not offer such a wall plate?

If I am understanding this correctly you want to remove the 3-way switch at the 3 gang plate and use the handheld pico remote instead? Honestly, I would just buy a 2nd pico Remote / pico wall adapter and install at the 3 gang rocker plate. Keeping your 2nd pico remote handheld. Pico remotes and wall adapters are fairly cheap enough for this in my opinion.

I bought 2nd pico and found 2 toggle 1 rectangle wall plate. Still not sure why they don't just make a true 3 way kit that allows to keep the non dimmer toggles.

The Pico, as well as all Caseta switches and dimmers, are the standard Decora size. This is the rectangular hole.

Agree...if I don't want a Caseta switch in a multi switch plate, I just go out and buy a new Decora style switch. You can get a basic Decora switch for $9, and a lighted one for $12.
