It worked fine for a few months and then seemed to intermittently not be running it's two daily cycles.
Not exactly, but similar. We use one to turn on our hot water re-circulation system. We do this about 10 minutes before we want to shower. It is set to come on immediately, and the bathroom fan and shower light come on 10 minutes later when we know the water is ready. Works great.
What's the load rated for that? This one's spec'd at 6.5A and that should be well within the 15A spec of the 15APS.
.22 amps. Very small. You should be OK with 6.5 since that's your max draw.
