    Caseta dry contact module available?

I want to control my front gate with Caseta. All I need is a dry contact out there. Ideas?

Trigger a dry contact with Caseta switch located in the house close enough to the hub to still be in RF range.

    You would need a PD-5ANS or PD-6ANS. I would not use the non-neutral PD-5WS-DV.

You are looking for a relay with a 120v trigger. When you turn the Caseta switch on, it supplies 120v and closes the relay (aka dry contact). There are about 1,000,000 of them out there.

I like the RIB U1C - it's very handy and easy to wire. And cheap!

Success with dry contact relay and Caseta switches

I have an Airscape fan which also required dry contacts - two of them. I used two caseta switches and an RIB U2C based on the advice of digit1 in this thread (thanks!). The U2C has two 120v triggers and two dry contacts, for on/off and high/low on the fan. Works great with the bridge etc so I can control it remotely, schedule, etc.

    but how the pulse?

How are you creating a momentary pulse to operate the gate? Turn the switch on then off? That seems rather kludgey.

I would create an Alexa routine. "Alexa, open the gate" turns on the switch, waits 5 seconds, then turns it off.
