I am asking this question because I am wondering if there is a percentage of devices I might expect to fail and also if Lutron would replace these devices?

Lutron's failure rate is less than 0.5%. You should not expect failures. That being said, things do happen. What dimmer is not responding? Lutron will honor a warranty on the defective part, you just need to get a replacement from the distributor.

Thank you for the quick response, I just spoke with my distributor and they will replace the device with a new one, the dimmer was an RRD-6D-WH I am also pleased to hear of such a low percentage failure rate.... again thank you.
