    Stainless Steel Faceplate, which black?

I am redoing my home theatre and like the look of stainless steel. What are the thoughts on black vs. midnight for the switches?

    Thanks,

I had a client concerned about the different options.
There is Designer Gloss Black, Designer Satin Midnight, and Architectural Matte Black.

The first one is high gloss, the other 2 are matte and hard to differentiate from one another.

I like the Midnight or Matte black as they do not show scuffs like Gloss finishes can after years of use.

Satin-midnight. The SS plate has a satin finish and matte devices are not an option for RR2. If you want to up the look, check out the Grafik T line for RR2.

If I recall correctly, the outer edge of the CW-1-SS is gloss black, but I've also seen the Midnight installed. Any other color will look off as the ring on the outside of the plate is only available in the gloss black.

I did midnight with SS faceplates in my own home. The combo looks goods, especially since the SS faceplates have a black reveal around the edges.
