    Polaroid bulbs

My GC installed Polaroid model #30414435 LEDs. They are not listed in the All Brands List. Could it be, Lutron does not make a compatible dimmer?
    Thank you.

It means Lutron has not tested them yet.

The test procedure is somewhat complicated. The bulb manufacturer has to request testing. There is something like a 2 year lead time. Lutron tests the product with all their dimmers. The testing is extensive so Lutron requires a large sample of products from the bulb manufacturer. Many manufacturers just don't bother getting dimmer manufacturers to test their products.

My rule of thumb is I only buy from companies that specialize in lighting. To me, Polaroid is not a lighting company. I saw some the other day from Verbatim (the computer disk company).
