    Button Types Explained

A customer had previously asked for further clarification on the button types for the RadioRa2 keypads. Thought it would be good information to share.

    1. Toggle Control / Room Monitoring: Will turn loads assigned to the programmed level on the first press if all loads are off. If any assigned load is on, next press will turn off all assigned loads. The LED in the button will be on as long as a single load programmed to that button is on. Please be aware, in this button type shades will always move to their programmed level (not off). For open/stop/close/stop functionality on shades, please see shade toggle below.

    2. Single / Multi-Room Scene: Will always turn loads to a specific scene. LED will be on only when the exact configuration on that scene is met.

    3. Path of Light: Used to illuminate a path of light from a location to the next. Will send loads to the programmed level. LED will be on if all the loads programmed to that button are programmed at any level. If all lights are at the exact programmed level, the next press will turn the lights off.

    4. Shade Toggle: Provides the open/stop/close/stop functionality for a shade or group of shades. LED will be on only when shade(s) are moving.

    5. Green Button: Can trim the visible high end level of any load for energy saving purposes. Choose between the trim functionality or sending loads to a specific level. LED will be on if green mode is active

    6. Timeclock Mode: Will determine which specific project timeclock is active at one time. You may create several timeclock modes with their own set of time clock events. This button has a toggle functionality between the time clock mode programmed and normal mode. LED will be on if the timeclock mode programmed in this button is currently running. If the timeclock mode goes back to normal, the LED will be off

    In RadioRA 2 Inclusive software:

    7. Shared (Single Scene): Will create a common scene configuration for any load setup. This scene can be called from multiple buttons, and an update on the scene will reflect on all buttons programmed with the same shared scene. The LED on the buttons will be on if the exact configuration on the scene is met.

    8. Shared (toggle control): Will create a common scene configuration for any load setup. This scene can be called from multiple buttons, and an update on the scene will reflect on all buttons programmed with the same shared scene. This button will toggle the scene configuration from the programmed levels and 0% or OFF. The LED will be lit if any of the loads in this scene is on at any level.
