    Keypad back light

I have an issue where the back light is turning off on some of the buttons after I upload. I can factory default and all lights come on. After upload, only the top two or three buttons are lit. Out of 10 keypads, this is happening on 8 of them. I originally programmed this system in 7.6. I believe that all was working at that point, but not absolutely positive. At my last visit, I upgraded to 8.2 and shortly thereafter the customer notified me of the issue. Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

If you install a keypad off the shelf (usually a W6BRL) and the keypad in the software does not match the button configuration installed, the software will turn the back light off on those buttons.

We have a W4S button kit and I have checked that in software. All ten keypads are the same and only two are correctly lit.

I've been doing some testing and it appears that buttons 4 & 5 won't light up, no matter what button kit I assign in the software. However, with a factory default, they will come on until I reactivate device and upload. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

Try a new basic file in 8.2
    Kypd, load, repeater(s).
    It may have gotten corrupted.
Make a support file of the existing system
before you try this and send it to lutron.

    MitchE,
Tried that and the backlight was correct. Guess its something in the file. I'll send the support file to Lutron.
    Thanks for the help.
